I kid you not. The toilet paper I just bought has the following warning on the package:

CAUTION: Paper products can burn if used in microwave ovens improperly. Always follow guidelines and precautions as listed in the microwave oven owner's manual.

I'm fairly confident that my owners manual will not tell the the proper way to microwave TP.

No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence or taste of the American public.

I mean I like a warm towel after a shower. But warmed toilet paper?

Reminds me of the stupid thing I saw in the plane going to Palm Springs. On that cute little card in the seat in front of me, it had a list of electronic devices that could be used on the plane: sometimes while on the ground, sometimes while in the air, never and always. But what struck me was the first electronic device they said could always be used while on the plane: A pacemaker. Good thing they told me that one or I'd have had to starrt practicing my CPR. "I'm sorry sir but we're going to have to turn off your pacemaker. Let me just cut into your chest and turn it off." Stupid!
