JAG -- bravo to the photographer(s) here -- these are some really outstanding (and difficult to achieve) photographic shots using the light/dark theme, and doing it on the beach with water reflection, or sunlight through trees etc... OUTSTANDING!

Artistically I absolutely love #5 - which almost could pass as an oil portrait -- sheer perfection with the play from the light on the barn window. #7 with the bright sunlight blocked by the high tree leaves was also magnificent. and #16 is almost surreal with the light (sunset?) coming through the colonades and shimmering on the sea.

Picking out a BODY -- that is harder as they are each a sight to behold and to contemplate...

JAG this was a superb way to spend a Sunday morning. These photos are fantastic - a real thing of beauty. As I scrolled down, the quality of the photography reminded me of something I read about the great photographer Yousuf Karsh. When speakingn of photography in a speech, he said it was a lot like life: there always has to be some darkness. And wow, this was truly a good example of that.

Great Sunday Set, JAG!

JAG - Thanks for a very artistically done set of B & W's. Beautiful composition, lighting and shadowing, not to mention the gorgeous subject matter. Really loved 'em all!

Thanks, JAG for a wonderful set of photographs. Sometimes these studies in B &W are even more spectacular than in full color. I was especially drawn to 4, 6, 13, 15 and 18. But of course, that is all personal preference based on a lot of different factors. Just a big thank you for a wonderful sunday offering.
