A little-known older gay UK movie called "AKA" (standing for "Also Known As") involves a blue-collar hunk. He assumes a false identity in order to become accepted into the world of quasi-British royalty and wealth. If you can get a copy or find it on Netflix, it isn't bad.

I thought it was wonderful. It's kind of a gay 'Talented Mr Ripley,' with palpable sexual tension, pretty good suspense, and a cast that's very easy on the eyes. Only after watching the DVD did I discovered that you can watch it in a triptych mode (three split screens with different camera angles), and I wish I had.

I'm delighted you liked this movie, also. But how exactly do you watch it in that 3-image mode that you describe? Do you need to change the settings on your TV,

or change settings for the DVD before you watch it?

It was a while back, but it must have been a setting on the DVD, perhaps under "extras".

I saw this on dvd and agree about where to find it. I think I was glad I DIDN'T watch it in tryptych mode; I found it just a little irritating in that format, for reasons I can't remember now.

It was a good story. I really liked the movie.

Thanks for the recommendation. I found it on Netflix, just finished watching it. Enjoyed it a lot. Parts are almost amateurish, parts breathtakingly honest, parts just beautiful, especially toward the end when Matthew Leitch looks like Prince Andrew (in his younger days). Very believable transformation.
