It's never easy being spanked and silenced when the last word is never yours.

 

Regardless of why people get spanked and silenced around here is not what's important.

 

It's that those people who were once spanked and silenced keep coming back here. Why they do, I really don't know.

 

I'd just like to welcome back Ryan and suggest to everyone here that without his presence, after his lengthy time out, that FLGUY and his loss would never have been known to any of us here without Ryan's presence.

 

Time-outs may serve an immediate purpose for some - but lengthy times outs never serve the majority of us well.

 

My thanks to Ryan Cade for being able to speak here now - and my condolences to FLGUY for what he has gone through and without Ryan Cade's voice, none of us would have know the difference.

As an a-side - Since I am now self-policing myself, I favor the old rule where EVERYONE got at least a 30 day warning from management (not deej) before they were cut off like Hannibal Lecter.

 

Just a thought so that some here might have the choice of re-thinking their beverage, along with their beans......

I too want to welcome back Ryan and really appreciate his post about FLGUY. None of us are perfect and while I don't always agree with everything that everyone posts, I think it is good to have differing points of view expressed. I just prefer that they be respectful and not filled with "drama" , but that's only my point of view.

I could not agree more. Sometime, we may need moderation but we don't need dictatorial tactics.
