It's that time again!

It's that time again to finally put all these holidays to rest!

Another holiday season is coming to a closing (hopefully you survived and haven't knocked off too many relatives and dumped them in the backyard 6 feet under) and we quickly approach on another New Year as we welcome 2011 into our lives with open arms and a fresh start to a new year. May all your holiday wishes and dreams have already come true and may the New Year bring much joy, happiness and success to your life, family and friends around you as we celebrate and ring in the New Year with those that are very special to us (friends, family and our four legged/furry friends too!) as we close this year out.

Buster and I wish you the very best this holiday season and ask that you remember those that couldn't be with you for whatever reason and think about those that have departed our lives and remember the times when they were right there with you, smiling and laughing. Remember old friends, new friends and reach out to those that maybe the friendship has been strained and send out an olive branch. Remember those that are less fortunate or may not have family/friends with them so don't be shy about inviting someone else to your table and make that extra spot because no one can have too many people around to celebrate the holiday season.

I hvae such a debt of gratitude to so many of you here. You have shown such kindness and patience and generosity of spirit with a newbie here. To each and everyone here, all I can say is that I hope that your Christmas far exceeds your expectations and that you get to spend it with good friends family and loved ones that you hold dear. Happy holidays to all.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful card, justaguy. And while many people will be blessed to travel and get together with family and friends, others will not have that luxury. I've read somewhere that more than 10% of the elderly people will celebrate Christmas alone. Some have lost recently their loved ones, others won't be traveling to unite with their families as they used to do in the past. And I can clearly see that the Spirit of Christmas won't have the same meaning for them and how this time of the year can be rather depressing and lonely. Let's also take a moment and have a thought about them ...

Steven you are so sweet to think other people around us. You are such a great person. Let's do something nice. Not only on Christmas but on every day of our life, however. We need the Spirit of Christmas every day. Kisses and hugs~~~
