Catastrophic Care

 

You may have heard of this but I've heard people in reasonably good health can really be covered just for catastrophic care needs meaning some kind of really high deductible. Not sure if it would be right for you but it would be cheaper.

 

Also, I've heard Kaiser is fairly reasonable for CA.
