Rentboy problems?

Anyone having trouble with Rentboy? Doing a search or click on an ad and I simply get the "loading" message and the spinning blue circle. Anyone else having such issues?

Ive been Havin the same problem or even worse getting a web application error and not even getting to their site. I've also noticed compared to other sites their performance is very slow. I feel like I'm back in the days of dial up modem service.

I haven't tried today and have never had that problem. But I routinely have problems during searches. Many times the search will fail when I know someone I'm looking for is on the site. Sometimes clicking on the name of a city on the main page will even lead to a no escort found page. The latest thing is on Advanced search, I will put in a name like John, try to limit it to a city like LA, and it will still give me Johns all over the country.

 

What's a guy to do--Rentboy screws up on a continual basis, M4RN keeps up it's ad number by showing inactive ads and not listing position, and Rentmen doesn't have enough listings and doesn't work well on my iPhone.

I guess we can only hope rentboy listens and gets thief problems fixed. Their old version of their website never had these issues. And I hear you rentboy is the only site that works great on the iPhone. With the exception of daddys' sites of course ;-)

I think Rentboy just has too much on it's site that competes with the escort ads. Regarding Rentmen and iPhone: I was annoyed by it until I started viewing profiles in new windows.

Can you explain the last sentence a bit more for those of us only semi computer literate. My problem is not pictures but reading all of the profile on Rentmen.

Glam, that was ny issue with Rentmen. In fact I started a thread on it. Last time I used Rentmen with the iPhone I touched and held "view profile" until a popup window appeared with the option to "view in new window." selecting that option seemed to solve the issue. Let me know if you get the sane result.

From all the reviews over the years, I gather that you are an excellent escort. Your tallywacker is obviously an object of beauty, and you deliver on what you promise. In fact if I were a bottom, there is a good chance we would have met on one of my infrequent trips to NYC years ago. And we run into those faults even if they are minor-- fairly frequently. The majority of us also know the other popular sites have their own set of faults too. We are not blind to them. But I probably could have made a lot of money if I could have gotten anyone to take the bet that you would make the exact comment you did on this thread sometime fairly soon after it started.

 

I also apologize as this is probably bitchier than I usually sound. It probably sounds like I am trying to start a war with Kevin, and long time readers of this Forum know I'm fairly non controversial and not known really for starting wars. But I have just had a large financial reversal-- found out yesterday. I may have to declare bankruptcy. I am scared,upset,depressed, and a might tetchy. And Kevin's predictable comment struck a nerve-- so I'm sorry.

Thanks for the kind words. In this instance, I was neither trying to defend the site nor shill, but to answer the original poster's question. I don't doubt that when he posted it was having one of its many server issues, but as of 12:30 it seems to working just fine, and he might want to try again.
