What about serving a local soup kitchen together? On Christmas day when I was young, my father used to put in about 10 dollars in my Santa sock wishing me a merry christmas. It wasn't a lot of money but I appreciated his love. He used to come to my room while I was sleeping. I usually do something for other unlucky people before and after Christmas and I don't get gifts. I think Josephga is going to serve at a soup kitchen this year too. If I have someone special to spend my christmas with I think I will do that with him. You can go to a book store together and pick out books for unfortunate kids too. I usually do that too.
