how to run a business 101

Okay now maybe it's just me. But I really think someone needs to teach some of these guys how to run your own business. I'm not being judgmental I'm seriously thinking people need to explain it to them.

 

Maybe I am also incredibly spoiled. Having had a great contact from incredibly professional escorts like romann Raul davidsf and yes even Ryan cade. With all of these gentlemen initial contact and scheduling has been a breeze. But recent I have had nothing but problems. I'm beginning to feel a bit like okie and I live in NY. Wtf

 

As you know I am a fairly regular hirer. Though I am usually very faithful to the escort I like. That said, Recently I decided to spread my wings a bit. And have been interested in setting up shorter encounters with other escorts. Over the past few weeks. I have made over 7 inquiries. I can say that to date. I have met or have plans to meet. None of them. Perhaps my reputation precedes me lol.

 

I must first give great kudos to two of them. Both Dane Scott and Brandon Williams contacted me quickly and followed up with great care. But simply for scheduling and other minor issues these have not lead to hires for now. But I must say both these gentlemen have been professional and responsive and from my limited contact so far great to work with. The other 5 have failed to even respond to my email enquiries.

 

Now I understand not everyone is the email user I am. But I have to believe That if you are running a business and advertising that email Response and response time it is important

 

At this point I have waited at a minimum at least 4 days for some sign of response. I have even sent follow up emails. Now yes certainly I could call. But to be honest that is not my first method nor my preferred method for meeting someone initially. I find the phone call more comfortable with certainty business transaction details are taken care of. And to be honest I'm losing interest in those who can't respond.

 

I do not believe I am a difficult client. And I am 1 who tries to treat everyone with the level of professionalism. This is their business And I treat it as such. I just think it's time Someone remind them of the same thing. Many months ago I asked the poster's here Why we hire. In many respects the answer was Ease and timing. Well gentleman I for 1 have not found the hiring process to be easy for timely Of recent. In a time when the economy is not great I would think they would be more sensitive to that. But then I'm just a self employed business man. But I know if you want to be treated like a professional And you wish to charge like a professional.... you need to act like.... I think you get the idea.

 

Now I am not posting this to create some hola baloo. (My WV background is showin ). And no these are not unknown people. While i will not name escorts they are all well reviewed here and in some cases posters. I am starting to wonder Is it just me? Or are others finding a similar problem?

I would send out numerous emails to popular escorts and usually didn't get any responses. Yes it is frustrating. So it's not only you Tomcat. I think escorts have the same problem too so it goes both ways.

Thanks Tomcat for the shout out. I think it all boils down to communication skills. Some people get it; others simply don't. And I have to say that even from the provider standpoint, I often shake my head and wonder, how is this client as successful as he is when he can't handle simple communication or string together a series of coherent sentences in an effort to paint a clear statement.

 

Don't give up on those of us who do handle our business in a professional manner. Someday the stars will align and our calenders will allow the much anticipated date.

Tom....you have described my general experience for the past 10 years. Poor skills in setting appointments and finalizing details are not limited to the newbies, or the flakes, or the transition guys in-and-out of the biz within a few months; I have discovered that many of the well-reviewed guys are equally clumsy and unthinking in this regard. I got over it long ago, and just regard it as part of the chase, in seeking out that next awesome guy to enjoy. It's a filtering process that has allowed me to avoid many bad encounters and wasted dollars. So, it's a win-win from my perspective.

 

Over the years, I have become frustrated or taken a break from Hooville, but I always come back, renewed and eager to meet the next dreamy guy. Enjoy the hunt, my friend!

Communications 101 ??

 

Hi Tom and everyone else reading this reply. I don't get discouraged when I don't get an answer to an email for a few days. I find that I am not always able to answer my emails as promptly as I would like. However, I do note that many guys who have not answered me right away often start out with an apology. In those cases the follow up emails are usually very prompt. There are a few who have never answered an email of mine to them, and I take that as an excellent sign that we should never get together, and glad we didn't make the first connection. Although I too prefer the first contact via email, I will sometimes will initate a phone call and usually glad I did so. I also know from some escorts that I know well, that they often get loads of emails from folks who have no interest in hiring, but just get their jollies from email conversations, especially if they want a lot of details or responses to questions about what they would be willing to do. Patience is a virtue we all need to practice. I can remember when often the first contact may have been only available via phone or regular mail, and I am not that old !!!! So don't lose heart, Tom... if they are worth seeing, they will be worth waiting for, and you know many of the truly great professionals already!!!!

Exactly there are 1001 flirty little auto reply responses that could set up a reasonable response time. Even if it was the week or more. While the escort is the away with another client. That's perfectly reasonable and understandable. It's the no response I object to.

A friendly suggestion to those who don't answer emails in a timely manner.....rather than the "out of the office" auto-reply, I suggest the following: "Out getting fucked...I'll get back with you as soon as I'm able to once again walk."

 

If you go with the "Out of Office Reply" I agree with Brandon's creative idea.... If your out traveling it might help to use something like "I am out in {insert city} getting fucked..." Let people know you are well traveled and might lend creedence to the reason your are might be a little slow to respond. Maybe even put in there something like, "Will try to get back to you in 24 to 48 hrs..." Give the client an idea how long to wait for you.
