I think most people on an intellectual level understand the need to practice safe sex (at least in my age group), what is more difficult to appeal to in these PSAs is the emotional/non-thinking part of the person during a sexual encounter. I don'tbelieve that I have ever had sex without a condom, but the big question for me is when during sex would I be unable to enforce my decision to have safer sex. Knowing my self as well as I do, I am damn lucky to only have had sex with a partner who also believes in safer sex....without that I have no doubt that at some point in the playing, I no longer would refuse sex without. It is a scary thought and one that I am sure many men deal with who like me have no strong will during sex and their main desire is to please.

 

Also I would like to add to the video that getting tested is a very important component of safer sex...
