a movie review that is....on another thread, someone posed the question what non-porn movie sex scene would you want to re-create....got me thinking about tihs movie I just saw....it may not have raunchy sex scenes, but it has some of the most beautifully sumptuous, sensual scenes with barely a kiss....as the story unfolds...two love stories in one....one taking place in current times, the 2 nearly 2 centuries ago.

The leading men (then and now) are both hunks in their own right, Gwenyth Paltro is exquisite and classically beautiful as always, and the cinematography will steal your breath away.

'Possession' has that unique quality of both pulling at one's heart strings for unrequited love while while giving one a sense of longing for the passion of these charcters while at the same time subtely putting you on the edge of your seat in a sophisticated suspense of literary intrigue.

If you like romance movies, you will like this one. If you like passion and furtive glances and touches and kisses so soft but dripping with all the repressed emotions of an era gone by, you will like this film. Though if you read the book, I'm told it's not quite the same. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it, and wanted to share with you all a movie that should be seen.

Thanks for the tip. The reviews for "Possession" made the movie seem a little old fashioned, but still interesting. Your posting is very

important because I have a lot of respect for your opionion. Will plan to see the movie this weekend. Try to make to back to Philadelphia in 2002!
