Rio de Sangre World Premiere - Florentine Opera in Milwaukee

I'm going to be in the Milwaukee/Chicago area next month to look at schools. I see that Florentine Opera is presenting the premiere of this new opera. Anyone familiar with it or heard anything?

Ironically I just read some info about this... as for composer Don Davis... he is known for his work in film scores such as The Matrix. Even though this is a world premiere at least portions were composed over 5 years ago and have been performed by the LA Chorale and NYC Opera.

Sounds interesting. I love attending premieres. Well with exception to Nicholas and Alexandra at LA Opera several years ago.... I might check this out.
