Ok. New to being out im looking to plan some travel over the next year or so that will be just for my exploration. Im not someone who ever planned a gay vacation. And though I've seen it discussed alot had not thought of it as available to me before. I have three scenarios im working on.

 

1. Where I go alone mainly for the fun of meeting and playing with the public. No hiring activity necessary.

 

2. Where I take my escort with me for a combined vacation of fun and new experience with someone im already comfortable with. And

 

3. I do still have some straight mostly female friends who would like to go away and chill and if I happened to do some hooking up. Yeah. But where can straight and gay play well together.

 

Any thoughts On these would be greatly appreciated either specific resorts or cruises or just generally cities locales are welcome.

Rent a condo in the La Palapa complex right on beach a very short walk to the Blue Chairs Gay Beach.

 

Now that is truly a great idea. Works for all situations. Thank you. Plus I have Some friends in residence there.

You are just too sweet. My grandma raised me on those southern breakfasts and now that Im out and single... My waistline cannot take the hit. LOL

A few options

 

You could go to one of the gay resorts (Fire Island, Provincetown, Rehoboth Beach, Ogunquit, Russian River, Key West) and in many of the gay guesthouses there would be plenty of opportunity to play.

 

Or, there are city destinations where you could go and where there are some gay guesthouses, some more playful than others.

 

Any woman who enjoys the company of gay men would enjoy being in the places. She may have less of a chance of getting laid than you but...

Well she is just as horny as I am so.... ill have to play That one by ear. I've never been to the keys so thats a must. On mainland FL im not really the south beach type. So where else is gay Florida. Did I hear Lauderdale?

Plus prostitution is legal - you could hook up with a local. (very strict about anything underage, however)

I've tended to Like my men full growed as we said in west by Gawd Virginia. Costa. Has always been on a short list of places I wanted to see. I love lush greenery. That just makes it all the better. Any particular resort you have liked there?

You know it its Always good to have a traveling companion. And epigonos is dead on this place looks great. And reasonable. So you me and two-3 br Villa. Lets plan a late winter party.

Maybe it's just me, or my aging friends, but the idea of "gay vacations" seems to be a thing of the past. Seems to me the gay travel destinations are dwindling. RSVP cruises has a much shorter itinerery list these days.

 

I think there are many places you can visit and enjoy, with or without an excort, but if your expectations are for wild and rambucious sexcapades, temper your expectations. The days of backroom bars, bathhouses, and cruising spots are long gone.

 

Alas, a sign of the changing times. The recession keeps a lot of men and women closer to home and traveling to places with their straight friends.

The best reason for renting a condo at La Palapa is that it is right in the heart of the Zona Romantica. All of the two bedroom units have fantastic ocean views. The place has six floors and the higher the unit the better. All of the best of everything, restaurants, shop and bar, are within walking distance. A short walk will even get you to Anthropology one of the best, if not the best, stripper bar I have ever visited.

 

Many a my friends have expressed concern regarding safety in Mexico. I go quite frequently and have never encountered a problem. One need only use common sense. DO NOT hang out in sleazy bars in sleazy parts of town late at night. Anthropology, for example, is located on the main street right at the bridge over the Rio Cuale. After dark stay on main streets that are well lit and crowded. If you decide to go to P.V. let me know and I will recommend some great restaurants. Puerto Vallarta has the best restaurants of all the Mexican beach resorts.

I would heartily recommend any of the Hawai`i Islands, especially if you are bringing a companion. I have been there hundreds of times over the years, and am going back in November for two weeks and going to three of the major islands. I have never failed to have a great time, met other guys on vacation there, etc. I too have thought about bringing a companion along, but it would need to be someone very special to spend two weeks... and I doubt my budget would survive, as I would want to do all the things that I enjoy. Enjoy your trip but be very careful if you go to Mexico. The lover of a friend of mine was murdered there last year. Unfortunately when the police realized that both were gay, nothing ever came of the investigation.
