Ken -- You made my heart skip a beat when I saw the name Kurt Marshall. I can't remember the name of the movie but I can remember him and how gorgeous he was. Thanks for the reminder and the pics.

He did porn to pay for college but never finished. He got involved with drugs then was dignosed with Aids He was only 22 1 month shy of his 23rd birthday when he died from Kidney failure as a result from Aids and substance abuse. I think he's mostly known from the falcon film the otherside of aspin 2 and splash shots

One such individual was Kyle McKenna who appeared in a number of films during the 1990's that included a much BDSM work... Sadly he ended up committing suicide by way of a drug overdose after a bout with depression.

Ironically I viewed part of an old video of his the other day... something that I rarely do as I very seldom watch porn anymore... it was titled Leather Training Center... Since he often was an BDSM bottom he was my one of the guys that provided me the inspiration to get involved in all of this nonsense... I always liked the way he said, "Yes Sir!"

I met Kurt Marshall (real name was Allen Rideout or something similar--need to check his Wikipedia entry) at a dinner party in San Francisco back in the 1980's hosted by the then-owner of Falcon Films, Chuck Holmes. He, Kurt, was a really, really sweet and handsome young man--educated and well spoken. There were a couple of other Falcon "stars" at the dinner party, but he was the one that really stood out. "Splash Shots: Memories of Summer" had just come out (Chuck gave each of us at the dinner party a copy of the tape--I still have it) and Kurt was the new "It Boy" of the year at that time. When I learned of his death, I was greatly saddened. I remember that dinner party to this day as an innocent time--sort of like just before the "Titanic" struck the iceburg--we were all young, beautiful, and full of expectations for a long life that for far too many simply did not happen. Kurt was, and is, a very special young man.

I remember all 4 of his films but his first one, Sizing Up with Mark Miller was intense. Your meeting with him sounds lilke his off-screen persona matched his on-screen persona. Thanks for sharing the memory.

I re-ran "Sizing Up" with Kurt Marshall and Mark Miller (and others). Hot!! Chuck invited me to watch a couple of Falcon Films vidoes being made back in the day (they were called "Video Pacs" then). Watching a video being made is very, very different from seeing the final product after it has been run through post-production. The other star from those days that I met and was genuinely impressed with in all ways was Jim Bentley, who is still around (but retired from films, obviously). Last I heard he was living either in the Las Vegas area or someplace in southern California--but was in Florida for a while. Falcon is still the class act of the industry and I've met a few of the more current actors off and on through the years--but never hired them for escort work.

Jim Bentley's book, "Last Time I Drew A Crowd" was well done. I have a couple of copies, too--along with the photo sets. Along with Kurt Marshall, Jim Bentley was, and still is, one of my favorites from back in the day. Somehow the videos of the 1980's and 1990's have a certain quality and appeal that one does not find as often as one would like today. Falcon and Bel Ami still put out a high quality product and I spend way, way too much money on them (but that is more than O.K.).....
