Actually, after the first initial getting used to it, I felt quite proud that at such early age he is learning the most important lesson ever; that he shouldn't give a rat's ass about what other people think about him.

 

I felt strangely proud for him, and I am sure that many of his 1500 subscribers may be other kids who simply cannot fit, kids who are ostracized for being effeminate or weird, and they go watch this guy and feel not so alone anymore.

 

Won't be rushing back to watch his videos, but I am glad that he feels that there is a place for him to be himself.

I think he believes that he's funny and doesn't care if people laugh at him. He's part shtick and like most You Tuber's narcissistic. I couldn't get through the whole video, but whatever floats your boat...

Juan, I always find your posts so insightful and always kind (just like you are always warm too!) But, I wonder if people aren't tuning in to laugh - but I do agree, good on him for not bothering with what others think

I am sure that some may be watching his videos for a laugh, but my guess is that the mocking factor gets very tired, no matter how funny or outrageous something may be. How many times have we watched the "Leave Britney alone!" video?

 

In the end, controlling what others think of us is not only futile but impossible. All that matters is that what we do is in alignment with who we are. I believe that therein lies the secret to happiness.
