Spencer Garbett

When I started the Celebrity Fantasy thread, I was going to list Spencer Garbett in the "model" category. He was an International Male/Undergear model in the 90s, was on Star Search, and had a brief stint as a television interviewer. Strikingly handsome man, great body, and (from TV appearances) sweet and unassuming. Before posting, I did a search on him and discovered that he had committed suicide (handgun) 5 years ago. I was surprised and saddened by the news. (One of my references was a site about deceased gay celebrities--I didn't think he was gay. Maybe because he was popular among gay men?) Anybody know any details?

From what I remember at the time, it was an accident, he didn't intentionally set out to kill himself. It was shortly after Breakfast Time went off the air. He was hanging out with another person from the show, playing with the gun and it discharged.
