Anyone get this phone? The bf has it & likes it. I've fiddled with it & it seems ok. I've been a dedicated Palm user for quite a few yrs starting with the Treo 650. The one thing I like about the HTC Evo is it can hook up up to five devices but the one major thing I dislike is no actual keyboard. I'm off to see if the two Sprint store near me has one so I can test it out for a month.

Hugs,

Greg

P.S. My current phone is the Palm Pre & I really like it with no major issues.

I'd love to hear what your opinion is after testing this new phone.

Greg if you live in a area where Sprint has rolled out 4G then its an awesome device. If you do not live in a 4G area you will be paying $10. per month prem fee for absolutely nothing.

The Evo is so large a physical keyboard is not needed. You will be able to type without issue on the HTC keyboard or download another keyboard from the Android market place.

The device is nice but keep in mind you tend to travel and Sprints coverage can be spotty in places. More spotty than other carriers.

It runs Android 2.1 but HTC has said ti will be upgraded to Froyo (Android 2.2) bu the end of the year.

I hope this info helps some. :)
