Johnny Galecki was being interviewed on The View today. During the interview, Whoopi cold-read a question on her cue card which was a personal question about his dating life. (Whoopi later apologized for asking the question.)

 

As the discussion progressed it was mentioned that there were rumors that he was gay, and they persisted because he never acknowledged the rumors. I think the inference being made was "if you're straight (which he is), then why not just say so"?

 

Johnny's response was simple and to the point ... "Why defend yourself against something that's not offensive?"

 

In my opinion, that was the perfect and most eloquent answer!
