I use to enjoy watching LOGO television. Some favorite gay shows and some movies

one may not have caught previously. Now it's the same old dry Buffy the Vampire, Ru Paul's reality and one or two other shows they continue to repeat. I recognize that an all gay TV station might not be the most popular with advertisers but I had hopes for better viewing. Rocky

Yeah I noticed that too... while I was flipping through stuff. I thought it was a Buffy Marathon...lol... although I don't get why Buffy is on there unless it had to do with Joss Whedon?

I mean if there isn't enough American content, I would think Logo would expand to find some international content to fill things up. I know at my friend's house it seems Netflix has a bigger selection of stuff to watch than Logo.

Rocky, I strongly agree with you stance. "Logo" has got to get better if it wants my viewing!!

Logo

LOGO never won any awards IMHO since its inception with all the EDITING they did

But I think they just are running out of Interesting Programs due to the economy also along with the Pretty Faces which can be boring in itself! ;)

Everytime I did decide to use the remote it was LESBIAN Content!

I agree! LOGO sucks! I've completely stopped watching it. You're right, old reruns of Buffy and endless repeats of RuPaul's Drag Race have made the program offerings stale. The network execs at LOGO seem to have forgotten any commitment they may have made to the gay community to provide programming aimed at entertaining gay men and women that is relevant to our lifestyle. Shame on them!

This may upset some, but I think the same thing that happened to the Advocate is happening to Logo. The Advocate started to lose it's core audience when the Editor and most Associate Editors were women. Logo is programmed by women. That's not to say that a woman can't program for gay men...I'm just sayin'

Also the way they edit and censor is impossible to endure. What are they thinking? It's not the Disney Channel.

Interesting

I wasn't aware of the change in leadership at LOGO and I'm not adverse at

all to lesbian programs. I know that programs were rerun over but now it

seems there is a long marathon all day long of same programming. Queer

as Folk as an example was rerun but then you'd see some great movies,

ones that would have been on the "B" picture list but had great actors

and were very special. We'll wait and see.
