I'm taking a week's staycation in San Francisco and I realized that I haven't been to a go-go boy bar in ages. The bar on Polk St I used to go to has been torn down for a high-rise. I found the following in my Internet research. Has anybody been to any of these? Are any of them places where an over-50 would feel ABSOLUTELY out of place? Are there any other places with go-go boys that wouldn't be totally inappropriate for me to attend?

Thanks in advance for any feedback anyone might have,

SFV

Nob Hill Theatre

It seems there are very few bars with strippers in SF and the Bay Area, considering the large gay/bi population there. However, there is the Nob Hill Theatre (not a bar and, by the way, it is hit or miss).

Here's the website: http://www.nobhilltheatre.com/

I've been there when there were mega-hot dancers and other times when there wasn't even one decent-looking guy on stage. That said, I went there one Saturday night this past January and really had a great time. At least half the dancers were super cute and frisky...and a good mix of muscular and twink dancers, some clean-cut and some tattooed, pierced and edgy. Variety and diversity to suit every taste for sure. The place had been cleaned-up since my last visit a couple years ago. I enjoyed my hot "private" time with two different dancers (one of whom is a popular porn actor). All of the dancers stripped totally nude the night I was there and some of the stuff going on between multiple dancers on-stage and in the theater was definitely, well uh, entertaining! If you go, be sure to check-out the back part of the complex for the steamy "shower shows" too.

There was a place in Jones and close to Geary and Turk. The neibhourhood was interesting, but they had nice shows and then they had a private room if you liked the dancer. This was quite a while ago and I am not sure if it still exists.

Then there is the Tea room theater. They have live performances, but I don't think they do private shows. It was pretty crowded. I think this one still exists.

Both are in the tenderloin district, so be careful. the few times I went, I usually walked looking straight ahead and ignored all the commotion and was never bothered.
