Austerity Measures

Oops I thought this was the political section. Please move this thread. My eyes still hurt so I can't see well but this was really way off..

 

I think we will have to take austerity measures soon or later in the US, too and the tragedy that follows will be horrific. Today in Athens, Greece 3 innocent people died. Three infamous rating agencies, speculators, government officials, banks like Goldman Sachs and etc., are being blamed for the crisis in Europe. Most of all, flooding of the foreign capital in Greece was one of the indirect reasons for the crisis. It is also one of the indirect causes that triggered the crisis in the US and a lot of people misses it and I don't know why. More and more I feel either the media is incompetent or it is controlled. What puzzles me is that how is that possible when everybody seems so educated and well informed? Too many paid parrots in the media.
