Make idiotic choices in life, get idiotic results. Why in the world should I have to pay more tax because some ass decides to have unsafe sex or multiple, nightly sex partners and can't afford his/her own health care? I weep for the future, but for now am content to bitch about young folks having no common sense.

 

Harsh words. I suspect most of us in our youth made questionable decisions. Hopefully as you weep you will not drown in your own tears.

I admire your concern for your friend's health. You've done what you could. You've spoken to him, voiced your concern, informed him of the risks and offered suggestions for free testing. He's an adult, it's now up to him to take action or face the consequences.

I agree with Ed. Greg has done his part as a concerned, compassionate friend. Now move on. We can only do so much to help someone who isn't willing to help themselves.
