Spanky-

I have not thought about Tark, the shark, and his Runnin' Rebels in a long time. I always thought the whole program was incongruous. The name of the team, the location of the university, etc. seemed out of place to me.

If Bobby Knight had been a football coach, most would think little about his antics. BB is "supposed" to be a little more "refined", isn't it? Still, I think his heart is in the right place even if his activities should be somewhat censored.

G'town is a whole other topic and one I will let lie.

I thought the game was exceptional and both teams never said quit. They both had a chance to win it and there is little else one could ask for in a championship game.

Before now, I always thought Butler was a VOR with the ID of BUM. Sorry for interjecting an aviation "quote" into this but a few of you will understand. :)

Best regards,

KMEM

Greener pastures.

I agree with jawjateck...We will be seeing more of Butler and their fresh-faced, hottie coach.

Butler better lock the doors and post guards if they want to keep Coach Stevens for long. I suspect there are several majors already fingering their checkbooks.

I JUST saw this article exactly to that point:

I have to say this article has some interesting little tidbits. I love the image of the two jocks fighting over a physics problem. Some run ins with other famous athletes. And for those of you that are devotees of those blood-sucking maggots that play for that foul, cursed, satanic-worshipping baseball team from the Bronx, there is a reference to one of your own. I will admit however, that I always had a bit of a soft spot for Mr. Munson, because I always had a thing for the major league catchers (irony not lost on me).

Zoubs!

We cannot discuss this without talking about Brian Zoubek, the sex machine who just came alive halfway through this season. It was nice to see a guy who'd been injured most of his career really step up and assert himself when he got the chance.

What a Thriller. Butler was one basket from the National Championship.

I agree with jawjateck...We will be seeing more of Butler and their fresh-faced, hottie coach. And, that makes us ALL winners.

Good point. Duke's 7-foot Brian Zoubek is a sexy, tall drink of water!

A Man Crush, Perhaps?

I like this pic of the bearded Brian Zoubek even more than the ones above. But, is it just me or does it appear the interviewer might like Zoubek a little too much? I'm just saying...
