With syphillis and other STD's on the rise, is it a good idea to "rubber up" from the start, for everything, including oral sex? Put one on your tongue?

While clearly condoms are your safest choice all around, at the same time, there are varying degrees of safety. and a variety of things you can do for safety sake should you make a variety of choices.

for instance, don't know whether or not you have ever given or received a blow job with a condom on the dick, but it's the worst. even with fruit flavored condoms, it's god awful, and frankly, I lose my hard on either way, in giving or receiving bj's with condoms on. However, to keep it safer, just don't let the guy come in the mouth. for even greater safety, to avoid risk posed by precum, don't brush teeth 2 hrs prior as well as after sex in which your mouth comes into contact with areas of possible transmission (ass , cock, etc) Use mouth wash instead. Likewise, have any open sores? Stay away from sex as well that utilizes your mouth.

Instead of posing such an important question on line, you really need to call your local aids hotline or aids service provider or doctor. Don't have someone that you are comfortable with, or anything like that if you are in a small town, then call for the San Francisco (or other major city) and get the number from information on either the gay hotline or the aids hotline. This information is FAR too important to pose that question to any of us on line. While many of us may be very educated from personal experiences and life experience, we nonetheless, may not be experts, hence my aforementioned advice.

Good luck, and have a great time with sex. Even with precautions, it can still be hot.
