So many cuties, so little time

There are a lot of good reasons to see this movie:

Bradley Cooper

Eric Dane

Patrick Dempsey

Jamie Foxx

Ashton Kutcher

Topher Grace

And that other very hot guy I can't name since he's not legal for a few more days.

Me? I'm going with Bradley Cooper. That guy is smokin' hot.

Oh my stars!

Good gravy. Thank you Duchess. He is exquisite, isn't he?

Now, if you will excuse me, I need to go and...uh...be alone with those pictures for a while.

Greatness, Now why would you go alone to see a movie that is designed around a "holiday" that does nothing but make single people feel insignificant and bad? If you must go, take a friend. My recommendation? Don't go at all. If you want to see a movie, go see Precious or The Blind Side. Those movies show that adversity can be overcome, sometimes for a lifetime but sometimes only for a fleeting moment.

I agree TB. Take a friend greatness or worst case go see something else. Trust me When your with someone V Day is just a pain. what do I get where do we go and you always feel guilted into doing something. Its better to be spontaneous and give out of the blue. Not cause its some Hallmark Holiday. When your not with anyone it just makes you feel alone. So I say go see Avatar or hell rent a Terminator and watch a good kick the shit outta them flick.

well

I feel happy when I see a happy couple. That's why I love going to weddings and like to watch chick flicks. It's always good to see people in love. I thought about being a wedding planner but I don't think anybody will want to hire me lol.

OK I get that part I actually do. But dont go alone cause you want the warm fuzzy feeling to extend beyond the movie. Take a friend, take a neighbor. Hell go to a retiredment home and bring a video They will love you. But dont spend the time alone. OR of course do what we do best..... HIRE

"Just Kids" by Patti Smith. Fascinating look at her life in NYC with Robert Mapplethorpe before either were famous from about '68 to '73. I moved to NY in 1970 from the midwest and it brought back many memories of that wonderful era. Highly recommended.

Thanks for giving this title, Raffy. I'm a big fan of Patti Smith even before "Horses" made her somewhat of a name. I haven't read this book and had even forgotten it was out there, so thanks.

Greatness, I have to give a big second to what Tomcat's telling you. Going to see this flick alone is really setting yourself up for an "I wish that were me" moment. If Valentine's day is about love (and not big bucks), pick something that you love and do it. Splurge on yourself! If not hiring give yourself a spa day! At the very least but yourself a new pair of shoes--you now the type, real shit-kickers with fine leathers and superior workmanship--and walk em round the block a vew times. Smile, laugh, and do something great for greatness!

What a wonderful idea!

Although I might buy more than one pair once I step into a shoe store but I can justify myself that I am doing something great for myself. Thanks! :)

Greatness. There have been a couple of times when I'm feeling blue that I treat myself to a last minute trip. I just log onto a site like lastminutetravel or hotwire and see where I can get a good deal. I'm not generally picky (well, too picky) about the destination because I find that the last minute preparations are a good way to get me thinking about something else and the trip itself is a great way to see a new place or visit some of my old stomping grounds. And sometimes, depending on where you go, you can avail yourself of the local talent...Getting away like this always does the trick for me.

Might be difficult this coming weekend just because of the weather situation up and down the east coast, but it's something to think about.
