Whatever happened to the option of NOT reading an email?

If any of you advertise on adam or just go on there to cruise, you've noticed that they changed up the way of the inbox. It used to be that you could open the person's profile before even opening a message, but now you can see part of the message in the subject line.

 

As an advertiser, I get increasingly annoyed whenever I'm forced to read emails saying, "hi? disease free? how much? nice ass! fuck me" Usually I'd look at someone's ad and if they seemed to young or obvious they aren't looking to hire (e.g. a profile reading, "If you looking for a sugar daddy, fuck off and find a job"), but still messaged me, I wouldn't even bother reading what they had to say. As an advertiser, The last thing I want to do is have emails from a bunch of ignoramuses staring at me the moment I log on.

 

I actually sent them an email comment on what I thought about it too. Hopefully they'll revert to how it was, otherwise I'm just going to put up a phone number, no words...and just not even log on under advertiser anymore. Thats just a bad as opening the emails from some of the idiots off craigslist.

Because 99% of them wouldn't have the gall to call me with the things they email me because they know they'd get cursed out. The ones who do have the gall to call don't get cursed out because they're usually the ones who book.

 

The other sites I have no issues taking emails from because usually its not a bunch of ignorant, closeted a-holes with nothing better to do with their free-time than prowling around. Sure you get them sometime, not nearly as much as a4a.

It is not what you say - It is how you say it - The messages I have read that you have posted all have a negative slant. As I stated previously, I caveat that I have not read all of your posts.

 

Agreed, I may not deal with the specific Escort advertising service which you reference - as I am not an escort.

 

However, this message board is a very powerful forum for Free Advertisng - the participants, readers only, reviewers, and contributors on substantive topics are generally a diverse potential, probable, client base.

 

When your posts on a variety of subjects embrace a NEGATIVE SKEW then the reader base (all potential clients) may view you, having no other frame of reference, other than that negative skew, in a negative manner.

 

This is not based on any personal feeling about you - but rather based on Marketing 101, Business Communications 101, and populist common sense.

 

I wish you only positive thoughts and success and hope that you consider that your personal comments affect the skew of your marketing efforts.

FYI...I happen to have 3 other positive 'frames of references' in which to view if there is any doubt about my integrity. It may only be 3 but it has damn sure paid off.

 

This is no way was offensive, unless you happen to be one of the persons who engage in such ridiculous online behavior. I would like to believe that you aren't.

 

I was on a topic about my dislike about a website. I hear others talk about the same thing, just from a different person about a different site. Lets just stick to the topic rather than tell me how to conduct myself in my own thread.

 

I've said it once, I'll say it again...and repeat if necessary. This is not the only advertising source, and if it was, my review is right here.
