Stock has moved, as many of you know, from its former location on St. Andre (and off Ste. Catherine) to a great location right on Ste. Catherine. Campus is at 1009 East Ste. Catherine and Stock is now at 1171 East Ste. Catherine, a block further down. It is very successful and very good right now; no one knows whether it is just because it is new or whether it will stay. Last Thursday it was jam packed, which it never was on Thursday before. And Friday and Saturday were very busy.

The front of Stock is a bar with maybe six tables looking out on the street with those wide, open French windows. So if you want to people-watch for a while (and sometimes the dancers do also), come out to this part. Then a wall of glass bricks separates this front bar from the stripper area and main bar in back.

Otherwise walk down the short entry way (fifteen feet), through the double doors, and there you are. There are lots of people who just look in or stop in now.

The stage is to the left, with two levels and a pole for dancing. There are many small tables and lots of chairs all around. Plus, there are a number of counters toward the back on three sides where you can sit on a bar stool, rest your drink on the shelf, and watch the show. Plenty of space to move around. To the right is the main bar, with seats around 75% of it.

Further back is an area with the pool table and a number of other tables and chairs for more crowds. There are two banks of monitors which show images of the dancers from the web site and also the dancer on stage. Neat.

Behind the bar, a whole new room has been created for private dances and it has about twice as many cubicles as Stock ever did before. They are wider than before, with cushioned benches, and deeper. Some are well lighted and others are in darkness - take your pick. They seem to work wonderfully. I had more fun and more success with dancers than ever before. You really do have quite a bit of privacy and the dancers seemed to be more generous with themselves than ever.

There are now two shifts of dancers. Stock is open 7 days a week, and the first set of dancers (about 8 of them) go from 3-9. They are the more natural build or twink types. The big muscular guys are on from 9-3 a.m. There is great variety, and great fun to be had. Every night was filled, but because the area is bigger, you can still move around. Dances are still $10 apiece. A couple of dancers I took for private had attitude and I would not ask them again, but so many were really great and a lot of fun. You should ask for two dances or more; one song is barely time to get warmed up.

For twinks, during both day and evening, I recommend Chad, and Tommy-Boy (who is fantastic), and Jeremy. The three brothers are toned more perfectly than ever and as nice as can be. The oldest of the three is quite tall, has an incredibly beautiful body, and was wearing the tiniest itsy-bitsy denim shorts I have ever seen. If you asked him for a private, he lost the shorts at once, and it was all fun. Youngest brother is also a lot of fun. Francois of course is delightful, Jessy is nice, Guillaume is good, Steven, etc. etc. etc.

It is a wonderful palce to have fun, and surrounded by good restuarants of all kinds.

Thanks for such wonderful and thorough description. Many of us periodically go to Montreal and this information is priceless.

Good job.

Ditto. Karl, thanks for the headsup. And, you seemed to indicate there is more flexibility is the privates at the new location. Did you by chance check out the status of the new Nirvana, supposedly accross the street on the second floor of building. Is Adonis hot with take out twinks. thanks.:-) :-)

Jack,

I have a longer post in the DELI section about the other bars in Montreal. Nirvana is much improved, but still has a ways to go. Adonis does not seem to be doing very well.
