or "Cartoons"how great are they,me i've always been a fan of the MGM/Warner Bros stuff Bugs,Tom & Jerry,Daffy,Porky etc when i was a kid i thought they ROCKED and still find them funny now.

Disney SUCKS i hated Mickey,Donald and co i thought they were so BORING the full length animated movies are works of genius but the shorts are just awful.Today i watch The Simpsons one of the great TV shows and i even watch the odd Futurama and King of the Hill,to me maybe cos im getting into old fart mode the newer stuff doesnt stand up its just merchandising opportunities.

Anyway the RushAwards for Animation are as follows...

BEST CARTOON CHARACTER

1.BUGS BUNNY

2.TOM AND JERRY

3.HOMER SIMPSON

BEST INDIVIDUAL CARTOON

BUGS AND CO-THE RABBIT OF SEVILLE

BEST FULL LENGTH ANIMATED FEATURE

1.BAMBI(SNIFFLE)

2.THE JUNGLE BOOK

3.FANTASIA

4.THE LION KING

5.TOM AND JERRY THE MOVIE-(ONLY JOKING !!!)

GODLIKE GENIUS

1.CHUCK JONES

2.BILL HANNA/JOE BARBERA

3.FRIZ FRELING

4.MATT GROENING

BEST VOICE ARTIST

1.MEL BLANC

2.DAN CASTELLENATA

Of course just my own thoughts..........

How could you possibly leave out Tex Avery? He is the KING of the screwball classics. And the father of Droopy Dawg ("thaat jus' burns me up) my all time fav.

I agree with all of your choices RushNY (being a cartoon/comic book "geek boy " for decades I will always talk cartoons/comics)

However, you left out Paul Dini and Bruce TImm, who created produced probably the best version of Batman ever with Batman-The Animated Series (their Superman and Justice League cartoon are pretty good too) and the Max Fleisher Superman cartoons from the 1940's. Those Superman cartoons are visually stunning with an incredible art deco flair and stand up to any cartoons produced today.

RE: Another

I'm fond of "What's Opera Doc?"

And don't forget, Chuck Jones gave us the televison classic "How the Grinch Stole Chirstmas" by Dr. Seuss. Beats the hell out of any animated feature produced before or since, IMHO.
