That probably explains...

Thomas Jane in "Hung" has sex appeal but after the first few episodes the series wears thin.

why I watched 3 epsidoes and still have the rest stacked up in my DVR queue.

Yawn...

Watched the whole season & just couldn't connect with it. It got renewed, but not sure how. I thought it was a bore. Not enough nudity & hotness for my taste given the subject matter. True Blood on the other hand, yowza! Hotness and necked bods every week. Granted the story lines and dialogue were at times cheesey, but the skin & styling made up for it. Hung on the other hand, in my opine, was lacking in all areas.

I liked Hung. It took a couple of episodes to get into it but it has enough talent to keep me interested. I am a big Jane Adams fan and the woman who plays the counter-pimp is very funny. I also have to recommend Bored to Death. Really, really funny.

I have recorded all the episodes on my DVR box and while I did enjoy it, I also found that after about the 3rd or 4th episode, I did become a bit bored with it as the commedy started to slip away. I didn't know it was resigned for another season so I'm interested to see how that will develop.

Not to high-jack the thread but Secret Diaries of a London Call Girl which is on Showtime is MUCH better IMHO. This is on its 3rd season I believe and I have followed it since the first episode and have found it to be very entertaining, funny and sincere. Not to mention, I have picked up a handful of tips from that show which I must say, have worked quite well and haven't failed me yet! I would highly recommend this show as it was before Hung which I feel HBO pretty much copied the format because of Showtimes success with their show.

Unfortunately since "Mr Hung" does not Travel (as the guys around here do) his Client List in this Town has been Small and Boring to him and ME!

I love his PIMP! She also played Fraziers Old Girlfriend the Plastic Surgeon! :)

The Episode with the Older Married Woman who Cancelled (How Rude) then decided to go thru with the appointment was one of the better ones!

The Kids also add a little to the Story line! Of course SO DOES HIS CUTE BUTT! Anne Heche well SHE Always seems to just be A.H.! :(

I don't know if anyone remembers, but Thomas Jane also stared in Highlander as Conner MacCleod MANY moons ago.

I've seen him in 'The Mist' and 'Deep Blue Sea' but..which Highlander? Christopher Lambert was in the original movie (as was Sean Connery).

I had just about decided to delete the show from my DVR, but I liked this episode. It was the begininng(?) of some character development as he realizes that just having a big c@(k doesn't automatically make you a good escort, and he starts to think more about actually pleasing the clients vs. getting his rocks off.

I think he was in the TV Series that went on for a number of years.

Not according to his credits at IMDB.com

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005048/

Also, according to IMDB.com Christopher Lambert was the only person to have played the role of Conner MacLeod both on film and TV. He appeared in one episode only. The TV series revolved around Duncan MacLeod played by Adrian Paul.

Sorry Romann...but I do believe they are right....being a fan of the show myself. Duncan was Adrian Paul and Conner was played by Christopher Lambert. He does favor Christopher Lambert though.

And I have crushed on Duncan for a long time!

That's twice in a week I stand corrected... ;)
