Testing the patience of baseball fans in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and points unknown, tonight's game with the Yankees v. Angels has been postponed to tomorrow night, Sunday, at 8:20 pm E.T.

 

The game was postponed about two hours prior to the scheduled first pitch. I don't reside in NYC. However, I do live close enough to know that it was obvious at about 10 AM that the game would never be played. I feel sorry for all those fans who made the trek out to the Stadium only to find out that they made the trip in vain. There was a live report from the Stadium that Andy Petitte was keeping his arm limbered up just in case. Now speaking of the Stadium, the talk today has been all about the cracking cement... Shoddy work and talk of mob involvement in a NYC project? That's something new!!!
