I've noticed a large interest in the arts in this forum...so...

She'll be performing at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, CA...tickets are $30 each with a required purchase of dinner or a two drink minimum. So, seems like it'll be more of a quaint, private/smaller gathering than a very large venue.

She's renowned for writing "The Rose" but according to her website will not be performing the song; instead, only the works of Jacques Brel.

Is this something I shouldn't miss, maybe just a nice change of pace for my evening with a friend, or should I just simply avoid it?

Thanks in advance for any opinions. =)

Why do you want to avoid it?

You can just cook at home and save money and listen to a good CD with a friend... I love cooking for my friends.. The problem is they don't like it.. lol...:)

Thanks for your reply. I've decided not to go...for now, at least. =)

Hijacking my own thread and simply saying here that you'll be missed. I've come to enjoy your posts as very positive over my even shorter time period here.
