No Justice and no compassion

There have been many cases where innocent people accused of something they did not commit and sent to jail. Some people are even on a death row for something they didn't commit. From time to time, "justice" can only be purchased from these greedy and overzealous lawyers, judges and prosecutors. It became a common practice that prosecutors and lawyers decide their cases over lunch. Sometimes, an attorney for a rich client knows the presiding judge and gets a favorable settlement for one's client. Do we have justice in our system?

 

NY restaurant Per Se came up as a topic last time and it sickens me how those doctors, lawyers, insurance company executives, wall street businessmen who obtained their sick money doing illegal things and celebrate their sins at Per Se.. Funny thing is if this country falls then they can use their secretly hidden money in a foreign country and take advantage of a universal health care at a foreign country.

 

Doctors without compassion for patients, insurance companies who don't care about sound business practices, wall street people who like to gamble with other people's money (currently it is like that....) and they are not even liable for it...

 

What has this country come to.... No embarrassment no shame... " As long as we don't get caught let's keep doing it" mind set is prevalent..

 

 

There are many good people out there still but it just made me upset when 3 people got away with their crime today because their "friends" would not want to reprimand them. One still gets to keep his job even though he costed a state millions because his superiors have to hide their illegal activies too. They don't want their secrets to get out. Take those journalists to a nice dinner and a nice spa and keep their mouth shut too... It is unfortunate...and they go home and complain about their kids not behaving and on drugs.. What a irony...
