The first option is a free option. Good luck!

Sorry Sean I don't have the patience to go through all those options. I tried two one was a free trial that would allow me to rip 10 mins and the other wouldn't let me cause the dvd is copy write protected. Now I have to go through and uninstall the programs.

I couldn't remember originally what program I used but I finally found it. It's free and will do what you are looking for in terms of cracking the copyrighted DVD to rip it to your computer. Keep in mind if you ever want to burn a movie that is longer than the destination DVD you will need DVD Shrink to compress the file to a disc.

It looks complicated and in my experience can be so good luck.

If you need information or get confused here is a link describing some options.

Thanks Sean. Sorry if my last post sounded mean but when it comes to technology I have little patience lol, I want it and I want it NOW. I'll check out the link you posted. I wont be burning the DVD just ripping it and then transferring it to my phone (it plays video) and my ipod.

No worries. Technology can be frustrating. I'm not an expert by any means. The DVD you are trying to rip is protected and you have to use a ripper that can decrypt the code to allow you to rip it. Also, and I may be mistaken, but you may have to convert the ripped DVD file to a format that will allow your IPOD to play it. There are converters for that. Sorry, but if you want it then you will have to put up with the aggravation.

Good Luck!
