I believe it depends a lot on the city you are in. Also, if you're looking for a LTR, 'friends first' or sex.

 

Manhunt is GREAT for the last one...but that's in my mid-size city in Canada. Your mileage may vary.

Manhunt used to be great until they fucked up the site about a month back. Now it's down 20% of the time (including right now) and buggy the other 80%.

It does depend on geography but also demography. Most A4A profiles in SF and (less so) in NYC are black and latino guys, whereas manhunt is more predominantly white. I've heard dudesnude was supposed to be good and younger focused but all I get from there are messages from guys five states away.

I agree. Buggy and annoying....but my success rate is 80% (with v.good looking guys too)...a lot higher than most sites... so I can deal with a bit of bugginess. Guys that look like you, Kevin, likely don't have that problem with one site being more successful than another!!! 100% everytime. lol.

I like the forums on Dudes Nude. The new look for Mancunt is not pleasing to my eye. Adam4Adam is great if you like something with a bit of color or soul. I think if I had to chose Adam4Adam would win just on variety alone. There are more Latinos, Asians and Blacks on there then the other sites for some reason and I like variety. But I rarely ever hook up for play anymore so can't speak on which site is better.

Adam is good nationwide and worldwide...I even met people there who were visiting from London and Bulgaria. Gay.com is also pretty good...usually an older more mature crowd. Adam does have more younger and Black and Latino but I've met all types.

 

The good things about both sites is they are a mix of escort/dating/hookup sites. So if you get some guy flaking out (unfortunently with those sites the fallout is fairly high, because most of the guys on free chatsites are either involved or just getting out of a relationship) you can always hit up an escort

Adam4Adam allows escort ads, but Gay.com does not. Some guys try to use their chat rooms for commercial purposes, but regularly have their profiles suspended.

 

The best site there has ever been that combines escorts/dating/hook-ups is Gaydar, but unfortunately they have relatively few users in North America.

I tried adam4adam and manhunt without any luck. They both seem to be filled with other guys trying to hookup with other hot white guys. I guess I should have expected that right?
