In addition to it being Pride Weekend here in Dallas LOL, I have not gotten a chance to drop by here for a second...But what really got me is the fact that I spent nearly 12 hours split into 2 days trying to uninstall this damn, old anti-virus protection so I could update to the new one. All the while having no antivirus running so I didnt want to be online...

It all started yesterday when I was 1 day from expiration and needed to upgrade. Well in order for me to do that I had to uninstall the old one first. But it wouldnt let me!

Now I did a course on maintaining, managing and troubleshooting software so no way was I going to shell out for something that I could go back and refresh on (but complex). Only thing is I couldnt find exactly how to do it in the book. I went through my registries, deleted from there, msconfig...still had some hidden files  It wouldn't give me 'permission' to do it. So I go back and turns out all I needed to do is run as admin. and check a couple of boxes to give myself privledges to do so.

In the process I also spent 4 hours defragging for the first time since I had the computer a year and a half ago, cleaned everything as I was told "the reason why it wasnt uninstalling because I needed to clean it up"....Even though it wasnt the case, I still benefitted from the cleaning :D

So I couldnt update my new website (coming soon ;) or my homework (sounds like excuses, but its true LOL...For a moment I thought I'd have to 'take it in to shop
