Make a senisble decision where do you plan to go with this business adventure. Do not feel you are locked to this decision, but try as best you can not let the ups and downs of the business get to you that may cause you think that you can depend upon clients or even other escorts to back you up or always be there. Be wise in spending your money and as best you can be cheap in how you live but to make money you have to spend some money and realize cancellations, pranksters and general pricks and those who will stiff are out there and part of the game.

 

So I am saying invest in some good quality photos. You are going to be in Chicago maybe get some recommendations of places you may go to there. I myself like a mix of nice tight fitting jeans and speedos that accent, the package, the ass and your great looking chest. I would consider at least at lower half face shot that would show a nice smile, especially if you have great teeth. Us french kissers love to look at a nice set of teeth.

 

Second, please please please, if you are going to stay in the game for over a couple of year period consider updating your photos annually. A new photo posting is always worth on bump in Daddy's Review Section. Yes a suggestion was made to have fun photos for sure you are nineteen, be playful. Have the photos run a nice gambit of who you are. Jeans/tee/flip-flops, a nice open dress shirt and tight fitting pair of leather pants, water shot, sport/activity shots. Take enough photos that you can switch out a group with another set after 6 weeks, makes it look like you took another set of photos and garners new interest.

I always assumed the market would just be for younger guys as myself and noticed their is also a market for older guys.

 

I think most clients prefer mature, experienced, and professional escorts. It just so happens that the majority of those escorts fall into the "older" category. As you are learning, it can take time to cultivate how you want to present yourself. Be consistent. Unfortunately there is no mentoring program so it's definitely a good idea to reflect on what you want from escorting, what type of client you want to attract, and what interests you are open to engaging in. It's ok to have missteps along the way. We all have had them. It's how you learn and adapt that will determine is you fail or succeed. I think so far you've had a crash course. Demonstrating your desire to improve is a positve note. Reading as much as you can from the archives can be very beneficial.

 

Whenever I communicate or respond to anything I keep in mind my "audience" and respond accordingly.

Great advice! Be true to yourself, be consistent, be clear with expectations on both sides. Don't leave unanswered questions open to interpretation, this will lead to frustration on both sides. Plan well, be adaptable, and follow-up. Going outside of your comfort zone too often will lead to burn- out.

Just a quick word to the wise for escorts sending out x-rated pics, or anybody sending out x-rated pics. It is a Federal crime to send out porn (which would be any x-rated pic) to a minor. Technically you can get 5 years for each picture sent, and there are various state laws too covering pornographic materials sent to minors.

 

A case comes to mind I read about last year in California. This guy in his 30's (he wasn't a escort) sent out x pics of himself to someone he was exchanging emails with who was 16. The 16 yr old never told the guy how old he was, I think the guy just assumed the kid was legal age. At some point the kids parents were snooping in the kids computer and came across the guys X pics he had sent the kid. Since the kid was underage, the parents called the police and ultimately the guy was arrested and charged with sending porn to a minor.

 

His defense was that the kid never told him he was underage but apparently that didn't really help him. He was sentenced to probation, but had to register as a sex offender. I suppose if the facts had been a bit different and it could be proved he knew the kid was a minor he would probably have done jail time too.

 

I know escorts reading this thread are thinking "so what", a typical client is far from being underage and they are right. However a few escorts I know have told me once in a great while they get emails from someone who say they are slightly underage and want pics and to discuss hiring. They completely ignore such emails which is obviously the right thing to do.

 

I doubt if most underage kids actually have the money to hire, as they probably just want x-pics and maybe to start some sort of pen-pal relationship. If they are ignored by escorts when they say they are underage, it wouldn't surprise me if they try again this time just saying they are interested in hiring and omit any reference to their age. If a escort then responds to such a email by sending out x pics, then he could potentially be in huge trouble

if for some reason the kids computer is searched.

 

Granted the odds of this happening are extremely small, but it's certainly a possibility as the poor guy who had to register as a sex offender can testify to. I am sure there are some underage kids who write escorts without revealing their age, so I would be curious as how escorts would deal with this potential problem.

 

I suppose a escort could send out x pics to anyone who asked, a better alternative might be to tell clients they will be happy to send a x pic as long as the client replies he is of legal age.

If I'm in a market where a good number of escorts have face pics, I will rarely hire an escort unless I can see their face and torso. A nude shot may help, but not a lot. Frankly, one can tell almost as much from a shot in speedos. Certainly, you will be able to charge more if you include a face shot (assuming you have a good-looking face). Many clients (not me) are very turned on by the 18-21 group, so don't think that you have to look more mature. Of course, if you're in the military, don't show your face. It probably violates some military code, and might subject you to legal action.

Likewise if you say you have a great ass or are really muscular, you have to show it, or I assume you just made that up about yourself.

Whew...All I can say is when I turned 19, that became the turning point of my risque-ness.

In my case I Wouldn't even let it get past that point because I dont send out any photos, whether fully clothed or butt naked to any 'client' asking for more photos, especially when we havent met. I would advise against anyone who would do so. 9 times out of 10 they arent serious, and are prolly just photo collectors. Some sites dont allow to post nude photos, in that case I have to use the best possible photos as to give them incentive to book.

 

 

And also, another tip: Do not buy into client's offerings (not to make any of you great gents look bad of course!) of setting you/funding you with a photographer or taking photos of you to "help you get more business". I used to get told that all the time before I began modeling more often, and none of it came to fruition. Tell them you have it taken care of. Look online for various photographers, some who'd be willing to do free shots in exchange for use in their portfoilio.
