Help Me In Provincetown

Well good news is I'm getting away to Provincetown. Bad news, but really not that bad, is I'm going with straight persons and have a male friend who wants to get a place together. Anyone know of any nice places to stay for gay/straight persons? I want to have a good time without staying in a major hotel at the same time protect my life style. Thanks.

I just got back from Ptown and stayed at The Benchmark Inn. While the clientele may be primarily gaymen and women, it is an elegant guest house setting in the east end near the art galleries. Take a look at the web site:

Also, the Crowne Pointe Inn is also upscale.

BUT, I'd suggest you have a chat with your friends about this trip and let them know that Ptown is a gay travel destination and that they'll be lots of gay folks around town. They'll see lots of gay men and women hand holding, kissing, and the occassional gay couple with strollers and kids. Most of the entertainment is gay-oriented. Tolerance and acceptance is always a good thing. Take them to tea dance at the Boat Slip and see how it goes.

 

Some of the new restaurants this season include, Victor's and Bistro 405! I recommend both.
