FYI: You can tell an ad is no longer active by the fact that, when you go into the FULL ad, there is no contact information (no phone # and no email link) in the right column.

Active ads on M4RN have a Contact Info box on the right hand side of the ad, just below the rate box and just above the location box. If the contact box is missing, then it means the escorts ad has expried. If you use the Email link that still remains at the bottom of the ad, the escort will not receive your request. The administrators of M4RN will notify the escort that they have mail waiting, if the escort renews his ad then the mail will be released. Otherwise, your request just hangs in limbo.
