Has anyone been to the Why Not Spa in Chelsea? Do you know if they do a "full service" massage?

Has anyone been to the Why Not Spa in Chelsea? Do you know if they do a "full service" massage?

 

I have never been but I doubt it. I live on that block and pass it daily; they seem a little more upscale than that. I am put off by the worker bees always outside smoking, however. The thought of someone finishing off a cigarette then coming in to massage me is a turn off. The staff seems entirely Asian, if that matters to you.

I, too, pass by this Spa frequently and never once have I been tempted to go through the door. As Kevin says, it appears that most of the all-asian staff spend their time outside smoking. It does not seem to be a good sign.

Totally legit but the price of $110 for 90 Deep Tissue is kinda right. Only been to the one on Bleecker Street near 6th Ave.

I'll just note that Asians smoke A LOT!! Our prejudice against smoking (which I share) doesn't mean that you'll get a bad massage. There may be other reasons to pass this place by, but smoking doesn't seem to be one of them. The cigarette companies in the US don't really need to worry about all the anti-smoking laws here, as long as they can sell their poisonous weed to Asia.
