Gay newspapers targeting you

The other day I received an email from Seattle's gay newspaper asking me to advertise with them. Has this happened to any of you other working guys? I find it kind of odd to be getting a "cold call" like this but I suppose the guys gotta eat too.

Just sounds like smart business to me. If you owned the paper, wouldn't you want your marketing guys to do the same thing?

Same in NYC

 

The gay weeklies in NYC have taken to e-mailing all the guys who list on the escort sites to solicit print ads. When print ads have been mentioned by escorts on here, they are usually disparaged as bait for time wasters.
