Am I the only guy gay enough to be watching this program?

We are down to 3 now I was wondering (in case there is someone more gay than me here) who you think will be the final 2 after next weeks show?

Personally I hope it will be down to Jeffrey and Melissa.

Ryan,

I too have been addicted to this show, and voted in the first week for Jeffrey, although I agree Melissa is also a very likeable and capable chef too. Missed tonight's show -- will catcfh it on one of the repeats... had mixed feelings of Giamica and Debbie -- felt Debbie was clawing her way to the top by dubious methods and had really no talent outside of her Asian-American box. Gimaica had tremendous personality but too up and down on the meals.

I agree about Debbie. Check out tonights show on repeat it actually addresses some of what you said. i don't want to spoil it for you so I won't say anything else.

"Next Food Network Star" is the least favorite of their reality shows that I like. "Chopped!" is interesting to me because the judges seem to be getting meaner and giving the chef contestants ingredients like coconut and bar-b-que sauce and then the judges asking why the food tastes disgusting is sort of funny.

My absolute favorite show though is "Challenge" if it's a cake competition because I adore judge Kerry Vincent. The British accented woman with the headband who has been designated the "evil queen" and runs with it. If the gay guys are in the running with their cakes (Jason and James), they are always so bitchy and funny with their commentary - and cute to boot.

Yes, I caught it at midnight, and was very glad to see Geoff (or Jeff) and Melissa get through to the end, but was - as always disappointed in Debbie's all-too-obvious antics. I hope they finally knock her out next week. Geoff and Melissa have at least tried to be honest and open, and do show a maturity in their work.

Given so little of interest on cable, I am glued too much to FOOD channel. Like programs such as CHOPPED and IRON CHEF CHALLENGE as I enjoy seeing them deal with difficult (and sometime spretty downright disgusting) ingredients.

Of the food "stars" I enjoy Bobby Flay a lot, like his taste and direction in the kitchen. Like also some of the others, but there are now almost TOO MANY.

Ace of Cakes is great and I agree with your assessment of Kerry Vincent - she is terrific and funny, although they try to boix her in as a tight bitch.

We disagree on NFNS but I do agree Chopped is a funny show. I too like to watch these chefs try make something from the odd mix then get ripped to shreds for trying to do so.

One of my all time favorite FN shows though is Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

Actually Ryan we do not disagree too much. I too like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but when you are trying to watch tour weight... this is one BAD show!!!! And it airs at night -- just when you want to AVOID a raid of the refrigerator!!! :p
