Chatroom info or how to be a proper chatty kathy

I am a chatroom neophyte who just started using chatrooms to hookup and just looking for some suggestions.

 

Best places to chat (I've been at the gaydar chatroom), suggestions on chatroom etiquette, warnings (things to be careful about), what I need (I am already working on getting pics), etc.

Suggestion:

 

If chat with some bloke, and then proceed to meet, do not invite to your house or go to his. Meet in a nuetral place like a cafe or bar. It is easier to flee a freakshow then.

Never, ever use ALL CAPS in chatrooms! It's VERY annoying!
