What is up with the lack of email responses from men4rent!?

Ok; I have gotten about more than a dozen emails from men4rent (Dallas) the past 2 or 3 months and everytime I have replied they have gone unanswered. I even make sure that the email is sent to the sender; not from the auto reponse thing from m4rent.

 

This week must have recieved 2 or 3 emails; one did respond though with contact info. Now, I dont know because at one point the emails were lucrative...but that was last year. At this point calls are in the lead over emails. I'm almost about to stop answering email now! But of course I know some prefer to email at first especially if its for another week so I dont want to get rid of all together, but at the same time with the way its going may have to shut it down...

 

Also I usually get to my emails within the same day; so its not like Im responding to these people 3 weeks later. I know its a part and parcel but...this is ridiculous. Any idea?

Sounds like you are doing the right thing by answering emails promptly but it looks like one of two things to me. First being that maybe since the client does not know your email address your stuff might be labeled as spam and well we know what happens with that. Or two the clients are just being flaky. I am hoping that it is not the latter. But in all honesty that is one of a couple few reasons why I quit using that horrid site. Bad cs, over charging, double charging, dead ads why anyone would want to support such a site is beyond me.

yeah...the spam thing could be the issue, but I cant see how. I have a regular email address and I respond back with personalized messages, nothing automated. But it seems like everyone else was able to get my messages before cant see why it would all of sudden turn into spam.

 

Overall...men4rent is good for what it is though. Maybe cos we're on different coasts but it seems to be pretty popular here, in addition to showing up 1st on google. But, the site does suck and I cringe that I have to use it even though it works. I'm always having to get on customer service about something, I think they know me now...

I don't use m4rn anymore.

 

First of all some reviews on m4rn can't be trusted. Come on nobody gets perfect 4 every time. Look at tripadvisors.com and yelp.com, that is how a review should look like. M4rn carries unrealistic reviews.

 

I've been told bad reviews can be deleted up to 3 and sometimes unlimited by escorts at m4rn. That is fine because some escorts are unjustly given bad reviews by unsatisfied clients and I can understand that. However, these days reviews are not even available even though they have been escorting for a long period time. It simply states that ratings are "unavailable" even though they had perfect reviews a month before. Those escorts I try to stay away. One of the escorts who didn't have reviews available said he will show up but never did without any notification in Indianapolis. I don't even consider contacting them when reviews are not available. One time I hired an escort with not a perfect review. He was the best of the bunch. He retired though.

 

People here talk about flaky clients but I had to deal with a lot of flaky escorts from m4rn. Once in DC an escort told me he would show up but never did and didn't even notify me a reason for no show. I posted simply that he didn't show up but it got deleted right away. I contacted website and they ignored me. I'm glad that he didn't show up because I had a great time without him. Later my friend told me that escorts pay mr4n to post their ads so they usually side with escorts. So I don't deal with them anymore.

Yes, the site is horrid. Meanwhile, if the guys were truly interested in getting with you, they'd find a way to make it happen. (You do publish your number in your ad, don't you?) So I wouldn't spend a lot of energy worrying about these email addresses that never attach themselves to a face.

 

One last thought: do you check your spam folder, to make sure their replies are not getting lost there?

exactly; my number is right there so even if I never checked my emails....And yes my spam folder is checked and since I use a separate email address I barely ever get any so nothing gets buried even if it does end up there.
