An amazing series on HBO, ‘Brave New Voices’; which chronicles several groups of teens from different cities and their passion for spoken word to cope with their day to day lives. The series consists of 7 shows culminating with the finale of 5 teams competing for the best poet bragging rights in Washington DC. The journey and the lessons they learn along the way are touching and hopeful.
