I've noticed that recently a few Hotmail and MSN accounts of people I've met send back a commercial (spam) auto-reply usually related to some kind of high-tech business inviting you to buy things online. I found that more than strange. Anyone else has noticed the same thing with Hotmail or MSN?

Apparently there's a worm that highjacks Hotmail/MSN/Gmail accounts, turns on "vacation" settings, and sends spam in the autoreply. Your contacts should probably check their "vacation" settings to see if they've been changed, and contact their mail provider. Or maybe they could just fly you in for a "tech 'n' tumble" weekend. :)
