I have to say that today I was quite the little trooper. Despite having an upset stomach, being a bit cranky because I am trying to quit smoking again and it pouring down like the dickens and huffed it up to Skoke to the brand new fancy Holocaust Museum. I unfort did not get to tour the museum because out time was at 7pm and I had been up since 5am and I wasn't feeling well. But I do have to say that the opening ceremonies were quite nice and things ran smoothly. Elie Wiesel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elie_Wiesel) was the best speaker imo I think having lived through that horrid experience and being a professor of Jewish stuff. He was able to lend a personal touch to the stories with academic knowledge. I'll post the speeches on video if anyone is interested shortly after I get home on Monday. One special thing about the museum is that Skoke has the largest population in North America of Holocaust servivers and the museum borrowed from a lot of their stories from what I've been told. I unfort wont be back out in Chicago till fall most likely so if you are in Chicago take the EL up north and check it out. http://www.ilholocaustmuseum.org/

Hugs,

Greg
