Oh this is funny and right on target. Twitter is absurd and narcissistic. I think there's no greater indicitment of the microblog than the fact that every single DC media reporter now seems to have a twitter account. It's a perfect tool for the self-absorbed who think the whole world revovles around what they are doing every single minute.

I will never understand the fascination of constantly telling people what you are doing.

 

I have a consultant friend who at least uses Twitter for a business purpose. As he funds articles thatvhe thinks his clients would find interesting, he tweets the links and a short editorial about it. At least that is a practical use of microblogging.
