I got an "update" email from Ziegfields/Secrets (sp?) in Washington DC, stating that they are opening their new club on Friday, Feb 13.

Are there any locals who can verify this? I've been waiting a long time! }(

Thanks much for the information. Sounds good! I will check it out in a few weeks. It will be interesting to read early reviews before I get there.

RE: Anyone at Opening?

I was there. About 20 dancers in rotating 20 minute sets on the huge second floor. Recognized at least 4 of them from the old Secrets.

Drag show with Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Ross, Monet Dupree, and others started ON TIME at 11 PM. Ella opened the show with "Star Spangled Banner."

Big crowd. Arrive at 9 PM and waited in line 15 minutes to get to the front door.

Thanks!

Thanks much for the reports. It sounds good and promising.

As long as you know, could you please tell us

1. Is there a cover charge?

2. Is there more than one stage upstairs?

3. How many guys dance at one time?

4. Are tips given to guys while they are onstage?

5. Are there any private booths for lap dances?

6. What is the neighborhood like? Are there any

other businesses in the area?

Thank you.

Yes, at least 8 if you count the two bars

No unfortunately.

Not too far away from the old location, but the area is a little desolute. Theres a small str8 club nearby and a big building that looks like the HQ of some company.

RE: Thanks!

There were several photographers snapping on Friday night at the grand opening, so I suspect there will be numerous photos in this coming weekend's (February 20) issues of the Metro Weekly and Washington Blade.

Did not see any photographers on Saturday night.

Sure enough, they are not there any more. I searched around the sight to see if I could where they moved, but no luck.
