Halloween weekend in Ft. Lauderdale

What an amazing time. Stayed in a big, beautiful 1 bedroom condo at the Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort. Just one block from the beach, right off of Sunrise Blvd.

 

Dinner one night at one of my favs, Lucca Restaurant. Great Italian food, wonderful atmosphere. Located on N. Ocean Blvd just up the street from Dudes.

 

First time back at Dudes since the remodel. The center wall has been removed revealing one large bar. Dancers started promptly at 8pm. If you want to know "where's the Beef", you gotta go to Dudes. HOT latin MEN.

 

Didn't spend as much time at Boarwalk as we usually do. The addition of the Birdcage is wonderful. Fantastic menu. The highlight of Boardwalk is always Danny the bartender. From Brazil, this hunk is a real sweatheart. Found the dancers there a little bit more stand offish as in past trips. But I guess I was just wanting to get out of there and get to Johnny's.

 

Saved the BEST for last. Johnny's was GREAT. First time back since new ownership and remodel. VERY interactive dancers that started around 6pm. Spent a little bit of time in the "lap dance" area. NICE. Not quite as good as Montreal, but great none the less. In past years I just couldn't take all the skinny twinks. This time there were all types. A favorite muscle man from Boardwalk is now there, along with Jacob and his brother Jeremy. Latin men, young guys, the works were all over. Too bad I missed Tristan on Saturday night.

 

And the bartenders. Andy is still there and just looks better ever time I see him. Really, really nice guy. And, imagine my surprise to see Ralph Woods bartending in a t-back. This guy is even CUTER in person. What a sweatheart. He told me that he will probably be leaving Montreal behind and make Ft. Lauderdale his him.

 

If you haven't been to Johnny's in a while, it is a MUST SEE. Dancers start early ... RALPH is there ... there is a lap dance area. GO NOW and have fun!
