Another one bites the dust....

It is with sadness in my heart that I must pass along the news that another of the few remaining male strip clubs has closed. I tried to go to Dicks Cabaret here in Phoenix tonight to ring in the New Year, and the place was closed down.. sign removed, enclosed by chain link fence. What is going on? Why can the female tittie bars flourish, but male strip clubs are being shut down right and left..????

I emailed the manager of Dicks and received the following reply:

 

"No dick's cabaret is NOT closed down, we are temporarily closed for remodeling. If anyone has any questions or concerns they can contact the General Manager by emailing to [email protected] or by calling 602-274-3425 and use option #2"

i guess time will tell, but to be closed down for NY's Eve.. chain link fence surrounding the building, sign completely removed... looks like more than renovations to me...Hopefully a New Dicks will appear....It sure wasnt Montreal, but its better than nothing.

spending a few days in phoenix next weekend. any suggestions for bars ,bookstores or bathouses.
